- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆January 22, 2020, by Rinu CherianWorst Experience I have ever had. A group of bridesmaids and I went to go try on a dress to wear for a wedding. The lady working in the department, Monica John, was extremely rude during the entire process. During the discussion about the comfortability of the dress, Monica constantly kept interrupting the conversation asking if the dresses will be bought or not. Eventually, we wanted to purchase the dresses, but one of the dresses was damaged. I simply asked if there was a discount for damaged item. However, Monica said that because the item is on sale, there is no more discount regardless of the damage. It's not the first time I've went shopping, so I decided to ask another employee. I asked the other employee if items on clearance were qualified for a discount if it's damaged. She said yes. As I was showing the dress to the other employee, Monica John snatched the dress out of my hands and walked in the opposite direction to unknown location. After waiting several minutes, she brings back the dress along with the manager who ended up giving us the discount which is all I asked for in the beginning. I couldn't believe something like this would happen at such a reputable store. The amount of disrespect I was given today was unacceptable. The bride was about to drop $500 on bridesmaid dresses. We all had a right to ask for a discount for a damaged good.
- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆April 01, 2019, by Nisha MaePoisonous management. My husband was a wonderful employee who used to work for this location. He used to be a department specialist until that position was stripped away from him simply from not enough foot traffic. However, in the manager's eyes, it is always the employees to blame for the store being slow. They have an extremely outdated system in their company that was once thriving decades ago. Their store, itself, is like a depressing time capsule because they could never afford to replenish any of their decor or equipment. They work so many of their employees to death for such little reward and the whole store relies on nothing but numbers. You could be an amazing employee there who gets things done, cleans up after people, helps guests every second; but if you don't make a certain amount of sales in a single day, you're considered weak and vulnerable to potentially be fired. Simply depending on how many customers set foot in your department. So many good people have been terminated from this store and there are still so many left who are scraping for sales. The economy is difficult nowadays and systems like this just do not do well anymore. It is outdated and was such a deceiving place for my husband to work. They kept promising promotions and this and that to him, yet, never did anything about it. In fact, he had gotten multiple pay cuts after working there for years. That's just not right. Companies should be pulling you forward in your career, not pushing you backward.
