  We purchased 4 bird houses from Yard Envy spending more than $200 in total. While the bird houses are shown in outdoor settings they cannot stand-up to the weather. All had quickly deteriorated within a year and had to come down. They are made of cheap plywood that quickly delaminates when exposed to weather. The "cute" decorative elements fair out even worse. The Bird houses, all made by "HB", include the Brighton Beach Huts, Beach Sand Dollar, Beach Sea Horse, and Lobster Cottage. A fifth bird house was given as a gift and faired out no better. We spoke to a Yard Envy rep who deferred the issue to a supervisor who never called us back. Stay away from these bird houses unless you plan to display indoors.
